This is an early signature of Babe Ruth. The way you can tell it's an early signature is the fact it has the quotes around the Babe and that it is a very small signature. As Babe grew in popularity his boisterous personality grew as well and along with that his signature grew in size when signing on baseballs. The baseball stampings signify it being made between 1919 and 1924. There appears to be signature removals on the baseball which doesn't affect the displayability of the ball. The signature itself is nice and dark.
