Christy Mathewson passed away in 1925 at the young age of 45 and still the same person who was one of the first 5 inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame making anything from him extremely desirable. This is a different type of scarce. This is a contract that was made up for Ernest Padgett by the Boston Braves President Christy Mathewson who has graciously signed the contract as well. The signature is nice and bold. It can go without being said but any Christy Mathewson signature that relates back to his baseball career is truly remarkable.
 
This has been very nicely framed up. It has glass on both sides so you are able to view either side of the contract.
