Fresh off winning the 1927 World Series Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig went on a barnstorming tour to showcase their talents in exhibition games. During that time this photo was taken which is one of the most iconic photos of Ruth and Gehrig. The photo was released by Christy Walsh who is considered the first ever sports agent with facsimile autographs of both Ruth and Gehrig. Lou Gehrig wound up signing and including a lengthy inscription in the top right portion of the photograph. The photograph itself remains in good condition considering the age of it.
