If having a single signed Lou Gehrig baseball wasn't quite good enough offered here is just that with the inscription "Merry Christmas to Tommy" all in the hand of Gehrig on an Official American League baseball. Single signed baseballs of Gehrig are extremely scarce to begin with and the inscription added to it really puts it over the edge as a collectible. The signature has held up pretty well against father time with light fading present. The side panel has also had shellac put on it to preserve the signature which was common practice. There is a typed letter to accompany the ball telling the origins and how it was acquired which again adds to this piece greatly.
 
The baseball has also been fully authenticated by both JSA and Beckett.
