Presented is a 1987-88 Michael Jackson World Tour Golden Gate Hat Company Fedora. Otherwise known as the Bad tour, Jackson embarked on a career-altering world tour that spanned 16 months and included 123 concerts, marking the first time in his career that he hit the world stage as a solo artist. Since then, the "King of Pop" revolutionized the music industry with his groundbreaking music and mesmerizing dance moves, not to mention his incomparable style that made him "must-watch" entertainment whenever he performed as he pushed the boundaries of music production, music video artistry, and live performances. The fedora features "MICHAEL JACKSON" in gold lettering on the interior headband, along with the manufacturing company's emblem. According to MEARS, the black wool fedora from the Golden Gate Hat Company exhibits "Moderate" wear. The fedora comes with a Letter of Authenticity from MEARS (321140) along with an original VIP pass from the tour, presumably from the individual who acquired the hat.
