This is a Louisville Slugger Decal bat which dates between 1911-1916. It is 34.5 inches and 37 ounces which is important because Cobb preferred bats to be specifically 34.5 inches. The bat has seen several distinct and some scattered cleat marks which is also a characteristic of Cobb banging the dirt out of his cleats as he hit. Really a stunning piece. The bat is graded an A7 by MEARS only missing 1 point from the ideal A8 grade due to someone engraving a B into the knob at some point.
