There are a couple types of scarcity when it comes to memorabilia. There's scarcity of the person, scarcity of the item, and scarcity of condition. This particular piece has all of those boxes checked off. This is an original photograph of the Washington Senators prized pitcher and 1 of the first 5 inducted into the Hall of Fame, Walter Johnson. Walter Johnson was a bit of a trend setter as he was considered the first "fireball" pitcher in baseball. So here we have a scarce autograph in Walter Johnson, a scarce original photograph, and a scarce quality of autograph quality receiving a perfect grade of 10 from PSA. The autograph quality cannot be understated as Walter Johnson has a bit of a light signature which means it fades quite easily and finding a nice signature of him is hard to come by, let alone graded a perfect 10.
The photo has been encapsulated by PSA and is appx a total of 8x10.
